Cohort Strategies
LEAD PASTOR COHORTS
bring lead pastors together in a year-long peer-learning community. Through practical application, intentional sermon preparation, and structured peer feedback, participants develop greater focus, clarity, and effectiveness in one of their most important responsibilities—preaching. As pastors preach, receive feedback, and preach again, the cohort fosters continual growth that strengthens both the preacher and the congregation.
EVANGELISTIC PREACHING ESSENTIALS
Three-month cohorts designed for ministerial students, associates, lay preachers, and bivocational pastors seeking a practical foundation in evangelistic preaching. Participants take a next step each week by applying the fundamentals of evangelistic preaching to a capstone sermon while developing the skills to give and receive meaningful feedback. The cohort provides a framework for continual growth, making every preaching opportunity an opportunity to become a more effective communicator of the gospel.
PREACHING COLLABORATIVE KIDS
Nine-month cohorts designed for pastors and ministry leaders who proclaim the gospel to children. Developed by experienced children's pastors through a yearlong pilot, the cohort applies the principles of the Preaching Collaborative to children's ministry while addressing the unique dynamics of communicating the gospel in a children's worship environment. Participants strengthen both their preaching and the design of the overall worship experience to help children hear, understand, and respond to the good news of Jesus. The school-year schedule leaves the summer months free for ministry.
