Chaplains are some of the Church of the Nazarene’s most effective missional leaders. They serve in a variety of settings including health care, correctional facilities, business/industrial communities, and the military. Through their dedicated service, thousands come to know Christ each year, receive spiritual care, equipping for ministry, and support and counsel in times of crisis.
"Ordination or participation in a program leading to ordination is required for many chaplaincy roles. Individuals interested in pursuing military chaplaincy should contact Chaplain Jeff Hawkins (jhawkins@nazarene.org) for guidance. Nazarene clergy desiring to serve in a civilian chaplaincy role should secure the approval of their district superintendent and then request ecclesiastical endorsement by the Church of the Nazarene (chaplaincy@nazarene.org). Select from the options below to learn more about chaplaincy"
